Brian Oppliger

Brian started his career as a consultant with Arthur Anderson Business Consulting. He spent his years at Anderson working as a software developer in their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) consulting division. Brian supported many enterprise transformation initiatives for Fortune 500 clients and built skills in large project management, system integration, and process improvement.

In addition to leading many internal business functions, Brian has been instrumental in developing many service offerings for MarketSphere’s family of business over the past two decades. Brian has managed teams in the development, delivery, and management of enterprise solutions for MarketSphere’s clients in areas of enterprise software implementation, procurement transformation, business infrastructure planning, custom software development, and most recently unclaimed property services.

Today, Brian is the Chief Technology Officer for MarketSphere Unclaimed Property Specialists and the leader of our Innovation Center which provides technical solutions and support internally as well as for our clients. Brian leads our team of experienced technical experts in designing and developing best-in-class tools to dramatically improve and simplify unclaimed property processes.


Career Highlights
  • Founding member of MarketSphere in 2002.
  • Technical expert for the implementation and optimization of many leading enterprise software systems including PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, Ariba, and SalesForce.
  • Built and led MarketSphere’s Information Technology; Information Security; Governance, Risk, and Compliance; and Software Development functions.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining MarketSphere’s SOC 2 Type II compliance since 2016.
  • Built MarketSphere’s initial unclaimed property analysis tools in 2003 which helped launch the business and advanced technology innovation in the industry.
  • Designed a system to collect due diligence and other similar letter responses via the web, which has resulted in increasing response rates, reducing over 50% of inbound mail handling, and nearly eliminating data errors and inconsistencies in collected response data.
