Clive specializes in delivering unclaimed property consulting engagements to corporate America and has been nationally recognized expert in the industry for close to 30 years. Prior to joining MarketSphere, nearly two decades ago, Clive was the VP of Special Examinations for ACS Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse and COO of NAPPCO, two of the largest third-party audit agents. His broad background and in-depth experience on unclaimed property matters has afforded him the opportunity to work extensively with every state unclaimed property office in the United States.

Clive is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has experience working directly with C-Suite, Finance, Treasury, and Tax leadership to solve escheat business challenges.

Career Highlights

Serves clients as a project and thought leader to achieve appropriate compliance reporting and mitigating risk of non-compliance.
Led successful negotiations directly with both third-party auditors, as well as state officials, to ensure the best possible resolutions.
While operating as VP of Special Examinations at Xerox/ACS Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse, he was responsible for all aspects of state authorized examinations.
During his tenure as COO of NAPPCO, Clive was in charge of all aspects of operations, annual reporting, state authorized examinations, and state relations. Additionally, while at NAPPCO, Clive interfaced directly with state agency heads of departments to resolve complex, multi-state issues and developed multi-state examination protocols and procedures.
